Panthers v. BSC

Panthers managed to keep BSC at bay for most of the match. Panthers had 1-0 halftime lead off nice cross from Mitch and header by Jerome. Should have been 2-0 as Panthers had a glorious opportunity off a counter that just missed going in. 2nd half BSC continued to press and got the equalizer with 12 minutes left on a through ball that caught Panthers' D flatfooted (I think it might have deflected off one of our midfielders as well). Up until that point, I don't recall BSC having any real serious scoring opportunities but they had the lion's share of possession. A few minutes later, BSC got the go ahead goal as a clearance in Panthers' box pinballed off a few players and landed right on the foot of the BSC striker who calmly tapped it in (I think was the same guy who scored first goal). After BSC's second goal, there were a few chances back and forth including a BSC rocket strike that bounced of the top of the cross bar as well as a handball in the BSC box that was never called. Panthers generated a few chances in the last minutes including a last second header off a corner that just missed but could not come up with the equalizer.
