Devils 3 Celtic Classic 2

Not your typical BDSL soccer night game scheduled on a Tuesday. Devils showed with 11 and adding a 12th right before kickoff and a 13th prob 10 mins in. Celtic had about 14-15.
Devils came out to play and knew that a big three points were on the line with a bare bones roster- rolling 12 with an injured 13th.  Surprise guest scouting the game as FC Aftershock was present, but no Ultra's in tail. maybe my last post got to 'em ??

Gametime....Whistle Blew. and within a minute Devils were on the board 1-0. M. Wzontek slotted the ball to C. Wzontek who found Marcus Campbell between two defenders who one touched the ball right side past the keeper... 1-0
5 mins later long cross from the right side to the left, marcus Campbell flicked it over the defender to K. Bukowiecki who took a nice shot, keeper got some of it, but not all and it went into the net. 2-0 Devils quickly
Maybe 25-30 mins in, Grant Graves found C. Wzontek in on net alone behind defender who selflessly dished off to Marcus Campbell with an open net. 3-0 Devils.
Devils started to push forward thinking the game was over and everyone wanted to score. 3-0 at Half.
Celtic came out in 2nd with much more control and purpose. Wasn't until maybe 15 mins remaining our mids got caught up, some miscommunication and Celtic slotted a ball left side inside the post witha  nice shot 3-1.

5 mins later Celtic got back on the board after a turnover and Devils couldn't clear it, shot btwn goalies legs and into the net. 3-2. Ref added 2 mins of extra time and Devils kept the ball out of the zone and to the corners. two games in 3 days with bare bones roster for Tuesday got to us. legs ran out of gas. Final 3-2. Best of luck to Celtic, their record does not do their team justice. I'm thinking we may see this team down the road this year.
for us, 3 and 0 on the season and a good 9 days off until our first Wood Cup game.
