WNY United 1, FK Bosna 0

United came out on top 1-0 tonight at the West Seneca complex in a pretty even matchup with FK Bosna. It was a pretty physical game both ways but I thought the refs let us play. We had 7 subs tonight, Bosna had 4, though both teams had plenty of late arrivals. They had the better run of play early but we gradually grew into the game. The winner came with about 15-20 minutes left, Pete Ruocco made a diagonal run that pulled out a defender, Brian Dunn hit a pass to Chris Duerr who was now 1v1 with a defender and he finished it low to the far corner. A good win for us, we're playing better every week, and keeps us in the mix in the standings.
