Kickoff was at 6pm at West Seneca Soccer Complex. Aftershock had 14 available and wore blue, while Stone Jug had 13-14 and wore there neon yellow.

Game started with Aftershock holding the majority of the possession. Around the 7', Dana Ungaro played the ball down the line to Patterson. Patterson shields off a defender at the top of the 18 and slips it past the goalies outstretched arm. 1-0. Around the 20', Tony Bonadonna receives the ball from Adam Hellerer takes a dribble or two and hits it upper left corner from 35 yards out. Best goal of the year. 2-0. Stone Jug would catch Aftershock on a counter to make it 2-1. Around the 35', Dana (who I would say played the best game for Aftershock to date) was inside the box working the baseline and gets grabbed by a Stone Jug player, PK awarded. Caleb Spaulding steps to the spot and drills it past the goalie. 3-1. Aftershock would generate a few more chances before halftime, but none of them would find the back of the net.

Second half started with a little pressure from Stone Jug. They would get another one with the ball bouncing around the box and eventually finding the back of the net. AR had their flag up for offsides but after talking it over with the center ref they said that the ball was in the back of the net before the offsides player touched the ball. 3-2. At the 65', Bonadonna played a ball from behind half over the top to Patterson, who walks around the goalie and taps it into the empty net. 4-2. At the 75', Chris Gallineau played the ball over the top to Bonadonna, who made a move or two inside the box before slotting it short side. 5-2. Stone Jug would catch Aftershock on the counter again to make it 5-3. Towards the end Stone Jug applied pressure but did not generate anything too dangerously. Game was called with final score 5-3.

Good luck to Stone Jug the rest of the year.

Aftershock stay alive in the playoff race with the win. We have two important games this week. First is against our self-proclaimed big brothers, Devils, on Tuesday at 8:45 under the lights at Kenny Field, and then next Sunday vs Celtic Classic at 6 pm at Kenmore East.
