Just an FYI: There's no character limits for these game recaps. Don't get me wrong, I'm not promoting a full newspaper type article, but six words doesn't really capture the essence of the 90 minute epic I'm certain this game was

Empire 90 came out pressuring with solid possession through out the game. They were able to finish on the chances given. Chelsea came out completely flat and not ready to play at all. We could not generate any momentum. The score was tied 1-1 for about 30 minutes going back and forth with 50/50 possession. Empire 90 scored 3 goals to end the half ( 4-1 ). Chelsea could not recover. Hats off to Empire 90 ( good, young team ). Lets hope we meet again for a rematch in the playoffs for a better game when both teams have full squads.

Re: Empire 90 - 6, Chelsea - 1
The original post was tongue in cheek – more words means more opportunity to be called out again as disrespectful and classless (a moniker some on these boards seem to relish but not me [now I'll lighten up on this]).
As far as the E90 game report… Playing with a full side (plus one sub) for the first time this year, Empire 90 put it all together and built a 4-1 half time lead with some nice build up and finishes including three goals just off of or inside the post. The second half was more of the same as Empire 90 controlled play and converted twice while Chelsea’s occasional counters went unrewarded.
E90 goal scorers were Kevin Castine (2), Brian Durfee, John Piaggione, Matt Olix and Steve Bartkowski. A shout out to Chelsea’s keeper who hung in there, and #7 whose swivel hips had him escaping even double teams with the ball.

I was going to say that I detected a note of sarcasm in your thanking the officals, but I thought that might trigger the old league sensitivity meter It's all good. Nice result!

We had three veteran officials keeping the peace and they did do a good job.
