The game started off with the pack not letting the reds get the ball out of there end and capitalized early into the game from pete kempf scoring, a few minutes later dennis rich kept the scoring going making it two nil, the reds got some life after the second goal bringing it down with two nice shots after the second keeper adam eaton had the wind to thank to a punt that traveled to the back of the other net to make the game 3-0 again a few minutes later kyle hanavan roofed a beautiful shot from inside the 18 to get the pack infront 4-0. The 4-0 lead did not hold up i believe 18 on the reds scored with a beautiful shot from about 20yrds out. 4-1 at half time. The reds came out strong and took control of the game the pack only got a few chances in the second but was being outworked. The reds took advantage and netted a second goal (not sure who). tough game to both sides a few unlucky bounces both ways. To the reds great game you guys are a great team best of luck in the regular season.

Pretty fair assessment of the game. We were missing most of our regular defenders, but that's no excuse for the first 15 minutes. We didn't handle their speed or the wind and sun in our eyes, and saw ourselves down 4-0. One was an own goal. We picked ourselves off the mat and got to work. Aaron Gartner had our first, a nice shot top-shelf. We improved our workrate and assertiveness in the second half and were rewarded with more opportunities for our efforts. Nate Dutro scored our second, beating the keeper to a ball and tapping it into the empty net. Their keeper made a couple nice saves, on a free kick by Gartner and a breakaway by Dutro.
