Celtic United 3, WNY United Reds 0

The score doesn't really reflect, in our eyes, how good of a game this was. We won the toss and played with the wind in the first half. Both teams had some good chances and a few shots that went waaaaay too high that they'd probably like to have back. Our keeper Johnny Mueller was up to the task tonight, in fact everyone was - Celtic United is a division higher than us and a very good team. 0-0 at the half. They got a free kick goal early in the second, and doubled their lead maybe halfway through. They made a nice save on a Nate Dutro header that could've gotten us back in it. Celtic found a third late in the game. Their quality showed at times but we thought we made a good game of it, hopefully something we can carry over into the rest of the season.
