Devils 2 , Bosnia 4

welp, Devils gave 3 points away today, had a full squad show of 20, but 3 were injured and barely or didn't play at all.
Bosnia had 14.
I believe the Devils didn't know the game started at 4 bc we didn't show up until the 2nd half. 6 mins in, give way along the side to their midfielder was able to walk in and pass the ball across the 6 for a tap in. 1-0 Bosnia.
Nice long moment of silence followed for CP7. #rip.
2 minutes later, Devils got a free kick off a yellow card hand ball which center back slapped ball down as the last defender as Chris Wzontek would have been in on net alone behind him. Mike Wzontek took free kick, wall jumped Eric "Chop" Johnson was able to pick up the ball and score . 1-1. 9 mins in.
This is where we fall apart. all the goals seemed to be the exact same, Giveaway to their two fast players, which seems the only place the ball goes through for Bosnia. 1 nice shot, from 18 slipped past Marcus Campbell (playing with 2 pulled hamstrings) and the other two were a tap in giveaway and a giveaway- breakaway which Marcus had no chance. We hung him out to dry 4 times on 4 giveaways.
4-1 Half.
Devils came out strong, Bosnia were on their heels for 45 mins. Matt Chase was able to burry a ball from 25-30 yards out on a free kick. 4-2 Bosnia. Countless shots over the net, wide, miss opportunities with 2 indirect free kicks inside the 12 and 16 yards out. Breakaway which I put right into the numbers of the keeper. Devils couldn't finish. Just awful day for the Devils. The score does not reflect well on how we can play. Bosnia is a good team, but utilize their two new additions, quick and good with the ball. Best of Luck the rest of the season.
As for reffing, lot of calls not called, man one was when a Bosnia defender layed out a forward with zero attempt to touch a ball as our fwd had his head down running, defender just stopped in his tracks and buried his shoulder into his chest, No call. Guess your not allowed to say "god damn" either... that's yellow card worthy. It may have been a build up of all the swearing coming from BOTH teams, yet u cant say "god damn ball" as their outside midfielder walked(more like a nice sunday stroll) 45 yards out of bounds to get the ball, clear attempt to waste time... eh, o well, I know reffing the middle sometimes when your wrong and u don't like being called out for it, u show the yellow. Reffing did NOT change the outcome of this game, devils giveaways and leaving Marcus out to dry the entire first half did
